There are eight original DX7 banks in the DX7 Data directory. There are also two single voices,
examples of my own programming. I add these, so you know that the originals are NOT as good as it gets. >:)
That said, there are some damn good sounds in there. Some surprises too, try a sound called Whistles,
and think of the X-Files. You need to edit a slow decay, and add reverb, but it's so close it's spooky.

If you want to make a new bank, copy one of those, and initialise it as explained in the Guide...

Note also that the sending of data is done by Sysex!, a freeware program included in this distribution.
That means that although DX7-Edit will run in BSD and on a Mac, you can't send data this way,
you'll have to make your own way of sending the standard SysEx files that DX7-EDIT makes.
I live in hope that someone cleverer than me will make a wxLua library for MIDI signals, I live in hope,
but sadly the makers of wxLua seem disinterested in SERIAL PORTS, never mind MIDI!
